This first block of the placement test consists of 1O questions on grammar, vocabulary and language use, mixing different modalities (fill in the blanks, matching, multiple choice, dragging, etc.). The answer is validated by clicking on the arrow in the bottom right-hand corner, except for some questions marked with a warning symbol (⚠).

Please read carefully both:

• the instructions for answering the different questions

• and the instructions in the last presentation of the test, in order to send the results correctly (Remark: to be able to send the result you must go to the end)

Before you begin, it is important that you bear in mind two points:

(1) This placement test is not really a test of your level, the purpose of the test is to obtain an indicative assessment of your language skills in order to place you in a group of SLT language courses.

(2) We advise you to take the following steps: (a) Take the test without outside help (do not use online dictionaries or consult manuals or other people). (b) Do not answer the questions at random. (c) Do not refresh the website while taking the test, as the results will be lost. (d) There are audio questions, so we recommend that you have your computer ready to listen and answer the corresponding questions. (e) Read the instructions carefully before each question.

If you cannot answer the first few questions, it means that the right course for you is A1.1.
